Truth, learning, and the rules of this world
Psychology: Specific if-then plans can support acting on intentions; they do not guarantee success. Research overview
Brain and learning: Repetition in recurring contexts is relevant to habit learning. Seven game days do not establish a real-life habit or measure your brain. Wood & Rünger, 2016
Scripture reflection: Luke 14:28–33 uses counting the cost within Jesus’ teaching about discipleship. Consider your commitments thoughtfully; this passage is not a promise of financial success.
Simulation rules: Each goal block adds 10 points, up to two effective blocks per day (one below 30 energy). Adapting adds 3 points when a goal block exists. Duty and goal blocks each cost 9 energy; rest restores 16, connection 5. Pushing costs another 16; avoidance 6. Daily expenses cost 5 credits, except day four costs 20. Travel adds one unit per street; a plaza visit adds four. Each four units beyond the route allowance (14 for the first two routes, 12 for the garden route) costs one extra credit, capped at eight. These authored game rules are not scientific estimates. No outcome predicts your future. This prototype does not yet model an entire life or nation.
